My favourite faux fur and OTK boots

Well sadly, the first official few days of spring have not been warm here in London. But there is a bright side – getting a bit more use out of my fuzzy (faux!) fur and OTK boots! 💃🏻👢

Every time autumn rolls around I get excited to break out the boots and the fur (…boots with the fur 🎶…cue that Lil Jon song…) so might as well make the most of it now. And you’ll be excited to hear that a TON of it is on sale currently. Is there anything better than getting a crazy deal on something??

I have been looking for a new black fur vest, something a bit bigger to layer. Lucky for you – in my shopping endeavours I have found a lot at discounted prices which would look great on their own or layered over a lighter coat/ sweater. Add it with another texture (like faux leather?) and it will look amazing!

The one in the pic above is from BB Dakota – last winter – but this vest is very similar (with more fur – bonus!) and on sale! Currently in my shopping bag is this black fur vest from Neiman Marcus Last Call. It’s an extra 35% off until tomorrow ….$44.50?! Too good to be true. Ooooo or what about this Mela vest that has a bit of leather and fur and only £25!!

LOTS of other vests are linked in the widget below which I found and all are under $100/£80 excluding shipping/ taxes. So adorable and selling out quickly! Add to your wardrobe 😊 instead of buying at full price next year.

Jacket: Faux leather peplum jacket from Zara (old) (similar here and here…both under £50)  |  Vest: BB Dakota (old) (similar here)  |  Necklace: Banana Republic (also old, bought it on sale for £10) similar bling, this is a bit different but still an amazing statement necklace, and this rose gold beauty from Mint Velvet (FYI – rose gold looks good on ALL skin tones)

Boots with the fur

(Okay sorry just can’t get that song outta my head now!) Over-the-knee (OTKs) boots were EVERYwhere this fall/ winter. And this girl could not have been happier! The Stuart Weitzmans are the ones that really kicked off the trend again. Wait….let me rephrase, it was Gigi Hadid wearing these boots ALL over the place that really kicked off the trend. And since she brought the brand so much business (read: dinero) that she’s now designing her own line for them. But the boots do look amazing with everything – over skinny jeans, with dresses or skirts. Great for accentuating long legs!

I also love a pair from Jimmy Choo…. the Hayley boots – wow! Just try and tell me this isn’t the BEST pair of date night shoes for winter ever. 😍

For those who don’t want to shell out more than £100 on boots (and I am right there with you!) Here are some amazing dupes that look just as great as the SWs and are also pretty comfy.

Black Steve Madden thigh highs…these are the ones I own. Very comfy and look great with so many outfits! Lots of room to wear skinny jeans underneath and they have a bit of a slouchy look to them which I like. This beige pair are a bit closer to the Stuart Weitzmans….in a different and funky colour (imagine with black jeans). This black pair from Catherine Malandrino which are on super sale now. And of course these from ASOS for the win!

All this talk about boots almost makes me wish that winter wasn’t ending…..

HA! JUST KIDDING! Bring it on spring.

  • Girl, I’m hoping to find the SW highland boots at a consignment shop somewhere because I was SO lucky to get their 5050’s as a birthday gift from my best guy friend almost two years ago! ::crosses fingers::

Definitely have to find some faux fur and pair it like how you did in this post!! xo

    • OMG what a nice friend!!!!!!! The highland boot is sooooo beautiful & classic! Of course I love the grey….just twinning (hopefully) w/ LEM. What colour are you eyeing? I could’ve sworn they went on sale on maybe Net-a-Porter or Farfetch websites recently?
